It's a simple concept...that matches it's simple name. We do 'one thing' a month. One thing of service. One thing to help. One thing to bless our community. One thing to form us in the way of Jesus. Sometimes it might involve buying something for someone else. Sometimes it will involve action - a spiritual practice. But through all of these monthly experiments in mission, we hope to be shaped into people of love and grace and blessing - into true followers of Jesus.
During the months of October and November, we are encouraging our church to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child - an organization that provides care and support to struggling kids around the world. We would love to have you join us in this effort.
There are empty shoeboxes at the back of the sanctuary, along with instructions about how to fill the boxes. Please return your filed boxes to the church by Sunday, November 13.
We are gathering a group of 6 volunteers to help set up for the Huffing for Stuffing race, sponsored by and benefiting the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, on Thanksgiving Day. We will gather from 12:00-3:00pm on Wednesday, November 23 (the day before the race) to help make connections in our community and support this worthy cause. Please contact Pastor Jason if you are interested in helping.
